The orchestra’s funds come mainly from playing members’ subscriptions, supplemented by
donations from a panel of Patrons. The subscription is £80 a term or £225 for the whole season
(three terms starting in September) with concessions where appropriate, e.g. for students.
Reduced rates can be considered / discussed for players who may have difficulties in paying due to personal circumstances.
If you pay Income Tax (or Capital Gains Tax) in the UK the orchestra can claim back tax on your subscriptions via the Gift Aid scheme, at no cost to you. All you have to do is fill in and sign this form (which only has to be done once).
